On 13th of May 2009, in the German city of Mainz, it was signed an agreement of cooperation between the Medical School of Porto University and the Clinical Center of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. The main objective of the agreement concerns the interinstitutional cooperation in Master’s education in epidemiology and will allow the interchange of students and Professors between the Universities.

The cooperation allows that Master´students  of Epidemiology from any of the participant Universities can acquire the additional qualification of the European Master of Epidemiology, by studying in at least 3 of the 13 in the network participating universities.
