The musical programme, under the title Music at dusk consists of a series of classical music concerts, although open to different musical styles. These will be held once a month on Wednesdays, at 7 p.m. at the ground floor of the Institute.
The cinema programme will comprise cycles of 6 to 8 films, telling the story of public health through images of world cinema, unravelling the challenges posed by disease, social organization of the response to epidemics, technology, the right to and the ethics of health.
The programme of Visual Arts results from a collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto aiming to stimulate regular display of contemporary artistic repertoire particularly that produced at the University, in specific areas such as painting, sculpture or photography. These initiatives will consist of exhibitions and conferences to be held in ISPUP and, possibly, extended to other spaces of the University, aiming to promote newly graduate artists or students.
These events will be open to the whole University as well as the community in general.
